About Me

I’m currently an undergraduate student of Communication and Media Studies at Monash University, Sunway campus, Malaysia.. I served as the editor- in- chief of all three of my school’s publications and you can read all my published editorials on this website. I also write poetry on an assortment of subjects and present my views in the form of commentary or literary criticism on topics ranging from international relations to contemporary literature. My favourite authors include Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni and Jhumpa Lahiri, to name a few. Apart from writing, my interests also lie in war literature (the Holocaust, to be precise), dream psychoanalysis (I follow the Freudian methodologies) and reading just about anything that I find riveting. A frequent movie watcher but just short of claiming to be a movie buff, I’d highly recommend The Social Network, Dead Poets’ Society and My Name Is Khan to anyone who’d ask. On a more professional front, I’m a laughter yoga instructor and although I specialise in senior citizens, I conduct classes for almost all age groups. In this website I’ve published a selected choice of articles, poems and reviews which again focus on a plethora of issues.
